This is my grandfather Patrick holding my mother. I don't know much about him as he passed away before I was born, but I do know that he liked to wear hats, bet on horses, and made a mean crab cake. At his bar in Baltimore, people would flock to get a taste of an authentic Maryland delicacy. His recipe is what I use today. He was from the Land of Pleasant Living.
